AltruTek is now focused on raising $500,000 to fund expanded efforts of our 4-man UXO-mapping team currently inside Ukraine. Each team we support can safely and accurately map 1,000 acres using the unprecedented capability of Arrotech’s GEON-E61 UXO drone. Your support of this effort will safely identify surface and sub-surface unexploded ordnance across Ukraine.
Our Ukrainian Rapid UXO/DGM Alliance uses groundbreaking technology that empower Ukrainians to safely and accurately detect a wide range of deadly unexploded “remnants of war.” We can do this at less than the cost of the vast majority of existing UXO companies and contractors. One acre typically costs $2,500-$3,000 to map (digital geo-physical mapping). Thanks to Arrotech’s easy-to-learn software (now integrated with Google Earth), even untrained individuals can quickly see where deadly UXO devices are likely to exist, up to 9 feet (3 meters) deep.
AltruTek and Arrotech are sending a second team into Ukraine in early March of 2024. With your help, we can reach more acreage across Ukraine and create these life saving maps. Unlike many technologies attempting to locate UXO, our technologies use military-grade and proven systems integrated with our drones. This type of mapping is far more accurate than simple “photometry” (taking visual images) and “magnatometers” (far less detail). The GEON-E61 drone leverages metal detection at 2 meters/second and has even located the notoriously difficult “butterfly bombs” particularly deadly to children.
With your help, this stage of the campaign will deploy our team of trained Ukrainian personnel along with all the their required equipment, transportation, and all supplies for a full year. In those 12 months, each team we fund will map 1,000 acres and share those findings with appropriate Ukrainian agencies, such as The State Emergency Service of Ukraine (SESU) through our ministry contacts.
